Learn the rope skills, ethics, etiquette, and best practices for climbing outside. This advanced course prepares climbers to safely lead climb and lead belay in a gym setting. Participants will learn critical lead climbing techniques, including proper clipping, fall management, dynamic belaying, and route reading. Emphasis is placed on risk awareness, communication, and best practices for catching falls. Successful completion of the course and assessment grants participants a Lead Endorsement, allowing them to lead climb and belay on designated routes within the facility.
